Sew So Small
Small doll crafting inspiration is here
DIY doll clothing doesn’t have to be hard, time consuming or expensive. You don’t even need a sewing machine. Developing good hand stitching skills will consistently produce better quality clothes, and I can show you how.
To get started, you may need to breakdown the outfit you want to make into pieces to include? Using a croquis to draw out the outfit and detailing the desired a result is the best way to then find the patterns that you will then sew from. Start designing today by joining my email list and receiving a nendoroid croquis.

About Me
When I started collecting Nendoroids from the Touken Ranbu series and then discovered that they could be used as doll heads - the first thing I wanted to do was to then dress them up. And there were so many possibilities too…as their character sprites, daily casual clothes, even as the idols from the 2.5D Stage and Musical shows. And I had sewing experience from making my own clothes and costumes, so how hard could it be.
My first doll outfit was a mess and frustrating too - trying to sew a standard seam allowance, with a sewing machine on a garment that was less than 3 inches wide and 2 inches in length. OMG! And working from patterns that were in a language that I could not read too - luckily there were good photos. It was by trying and experimenting that I found methods that worked and that is what I would like to share with you.
